Police have arrested Al-Amin, the personal assistant of Bangladesh Awami League presidium member and former Agriculture Minister Dr. Md. Abdur Razzak.

Madhupur Police arrested him from the Boali area of ​​Madhupur Upazila in Tangail on Thursday (May 1) morning.

The arrested Al-Amin (35) is the son of the deceased Ayat Ali Munshi of Mushuddi village in Dhanbari upazila of the district.

Madhupur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ermanul Kabir said that based on a secret tip-off, a raid was conducted at the in-laws’ house in Boali area of ​​Madhupur and former Agriculture Minister Dr. Abdur Razzak’s personal assistant Al-Amin was arrested at 11 am on Thursday.

 Al-Amin is an accused in the anti-discrimination student movement case. Al-Amin will be sent to Tangail Court on Friday.
